As people that place a high value on organization, communication and avoiding surprises, to say that we were amazed by Angela’s follow through and preparedness is an understatement. My husband and I had planned to interview several realtors but suspended that process once meeting Angela. She came to our meeting prepared with her research on comps as well as the things that we should consider doing (down to the paint colors) to make the home as marketable as possible to the largest number of buyers. She explained her team’s approach to selling homes and what we could expect throughout the process. She told us what we needed to hear vs. what we perhaps wanted to hear. Her background in staging/interior design as well as her contacts with pre-screened contractors was an additional “win” for us. On Friday, she beautifully staged the house, scheduled the open houses and began marketing it…. all within 24 hours. That weekend we not only had two open houses and 1200 hits on social media but multiple offers for over our asking price. Most realtors would feel that their job was done at this point but not Angela. She also assisted us in finding a radon mitigation professional and worked with him to get the system installed all while we were out of town. She also aggressively worked to find comps since they were in very short supply in our area. Without this added effort, we are certain that the appraisal would not have come back as high as it did. Since we were selling my deceased mother-in-law’s house, there were also plenty of opportunities for last minute “glitches” at closing. However, as a result of Angela and her team’s advance work the closing was completely uneventful. My husband and I rarely write reviews since “if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all” is typically the feeling that we are left with. Not only was Angela an amazing realtor with the sale of my mother-in-law’s home but she’s the only realtor that we will use or recommend in the future!
